I specialize in listing and selling condos (and houses) throughout Bradenton, Sarasota and Anna Maria Island areas & focus primarily on vacation and second homes for snowbirds and homes for people who want to relocate or live where there’s no snow. I also find properties for investors.
Maybe my style is the reason I’ve been successful. Simply put – my job is to listen carefully to clients and use my experience, training and tools to find what they want, then to manage the buy or sell process to be as smooth as possible for them. It is satisfying that much of my business is now from referrals and repeat customers.
In the past 2 years, I have listed and sold 70+ properties, many of them my listings. While condo prices ranged from $90K to $700K+, many are well within the $90K – $200K range and that’s a great market niche. Continued strong demand for affordable winter vacation homes on Florida’s Gulf coast keeps me busy.
About me: married, with three grown children. Prior to my 25 years in Real Estate, I worked for Digital Equipment Corp (DEC) for 15 years in a variety of positions; my last 5 years as a software product manager in the Unix Engineering Group in Reading, England. Pete and I both chose DEC’s ‘early retirement’ package as the company downsized in 1992.
We moved from Marlboro, MA to Florida with the plan to be retired, but being ‘retired’ was not fulfilling & a great ‘second career’ turned out to be as a Realtor. I’ve been with Bayshore Realty for 25+ years, most of that as their top producer.
I have lived and worked in several different parts of the world and I’m comfortable working with people of different backgrounds. Growing up as a military brat meant moving every few years. We were taught to look forward to the adventure of new places and different friends. That early learning to adapt and be flexible in new situations was a valuable business tool in later years.
